Evaluation

When i began this animation i made a model of a character i thought of and put bones in him. The bones worked but when i was painting them with the tool that tell which parts to move it ruined the structure completely.
After this i then decided to make a chain reaction for an introduction to a video or something. I had to do this frame by frame because the version of cinema 4d i used did not have dynamics. I found this wa quite rewarding as i actually animated it all myself as opposed to cheating and using dynamics. The overall look i am happy with and also the animation itself is smooth and there are no parts which look wrong in my opinion.

Mood board

This is a mood board of different materials and items i used whilst making my animation.

Final animation

This is my final animation in sincema 4D, i had to animate it frame by frame because the version of cinema 4d i was using did not have dynamics, so it was very time consuming but worth the time spent on it.

inverse kinematics

This is a leg with joints that i created using cinema 4D. I used the joint tool to create joints where needed on the leg. After doing this i created an IK chain to tell it where i need the control of the joints from. Then i binded the joints with the leg to make the joints move the legs.

Research

This is a broadcast graphics example. I is a small example of text that has been animated to make it an effective opening animation to a longer clip.

Camera tracking

This uses camera tracking so that you can add objects from cinema 4d into real life footage without it looking like it shouldnt be there. They use points to track an object then add an object into the scene from cinema 4d and it follows the points it is on so that it looks like it stays in place in the scene.

Award winning cinema 4d animation

This is an award winning animation done in cinema 4d. i really like how things transform into other objects and scenes, and the camera work is really nice. It is an advert for shoes, telling about the history of Asics shoes. The paper is very effective because it looks simple but creates amazind scenes by tranforming.

Research

This is a film that has been animated in in cinema 4d and then tweeked in after effects. I like the animation because i would like to use fire in my final piece.
